Design and own systematic stock-selection signals for global financials, built from company fundamentals and used in production for market-neutral portfolio construction.
Built a custom time-series factor and risk model for a concentrated US equity portfolio, used by the portfolio manager to separate market-driven returns from genuine stock-picking and to size hedges.
Built the team's first AI-exposure factor model from earnings-call transcripts (LLM scoring with Claude and GPT), and produce qualitative reads on brand moat and customer reception from review data (Trustpilot, Revelio).
Prior summer internship (2023): researched alternative stock-beta estimators (Bayesian, robust, time-decayed) and built an interpretable XGBoost model of PM behavioural biases to flag losing trades.
